Climate Integration
We have partnered with leading climate science and educational organizations to develop and mature this project since its inception.
Probable Futures is our core partner on this project, and they represent a deep commitment and a proven track record of climate communication to broad audiences. They manage best-in-class self-produced climate models and
have worked with our team to explore and exercise methods of intersection of these models with our project. Critically, Probable Futures Executive Director Alison Smart sits on our Advisory Team, and the founder, Spencer
Glendon - himself a highly-sought climate / economics / communication expert is a close advisor to the project.
The Green Ribbon Commission established itself as a supporter of the project under former ED Amy Longsworth. GRC co-founder John Cleveland sits on our Advisory Team and has been deeply impactful. Current ED Lindsey
Butler, PhD. is an advisor and supporter of the project.
UMass Lowell Climate Change Initiative under the direction of Juliette Rooney-Varga PhD., is engaged and we are defining their institution as a steward of the projectʼs carbon-auditing program. This is potentially a multi-year
partnership that would track, report and publish the ongoing and ultimate results of the project.
Maya Rao, a carbon-audit student at UMass Amherst sits on our Advisory Team leveraging her experience in carbon auditing and systems analysis to build an internal vocabulary and framework with which to scale our auditing and offset initiatives.
We have received support and guidance from the Massachusetts Office of Climate Innovation and Resilience and Chief Climate Officer for the state Melissa Hoffer as well as with the City of Bostonʼs Office of Environment,
Energy and Open Space and Boston Climate Chief Brian Swett. These and other municipal leaders have offered multiple references and connections to area experts, policy makers and community organizations with which our
work aligns.
